Bonds indicted

Barry Bonds the “home run king” (it will always be Hank Aaron no matter what the numbers say) was indicted on 14 counts of perjury. When I go to the gym tomorrow morning to get back to my size 38 this is going to be all the talk on Sportscenter. There is so much good stuff going on in sports right now that I don’t need this big headed slugger (literally and figuratively) to take away from that. I really wish they would ignore the guy and treat him like the bum he is.

Totally agree with you Luke! I’m not a big Bonds fan at all.

I think it is funny that Bonds has been available all season as a free agent. Oakland, obviously in need of one all season did not make an attempt to sign him. When Frank Thomas became available, the A’s, right across the bay from San Fran, jumped at him and brought Thomas on board even though they needed a DH all year. Bonds is an awful person. He reminds me of stool.

your absolutely right on the “good things going on”, for example…next leg of the triple crown coming up…the feel good story of paul goydos…Dviision III trinity going undefeated in baseball….IU’s total committment to correcting the debachle of sampson and doing it right…cletics…Kobe…the U.S.A. team…penguins….Tiger back for Jack’s tournament…Annika retireing, with this being her swan song…your new job…the recent Tony nominations….Israels 60th…yep…forget Bonds….

Tony nominations and Israel’s birthday are not really sports related but that is okay.
