The Musings of a Giant Idiot

I sat down to watch the KU/UNC game hoping for a either a close KU win or a blowout by KU that would embarrass the Tar Heels. Well I was getting my wish until Billy Packer decided to say the game was over with KU up 38-12 and about 7 minutes to go in the 1st half. As a Duke fan I know what UNC is capable of doing and sure enough they started chipping away and cut it to 17 at half. KU will probably end up winning this thing and play Memphis on Monday, I just don’t understand why Packer is making such a statement at that moment in the game when there is still plenty of time for UNC to make a run. Sure KU was playing ri-donk-ulous at the time of the statement but there was no way they were going to keep up that pace and there was also no way that UNC was going to play that bad the rest of the game. Of course now that KU played the last 5 minutes like they did the first 15 minutes none of this makes sense, just remember the name of this blog when reading.
